Living with Heart

Things I Love

THINGS I LOVE

I am Michelle – a mother, a wife, a quilter, a thinker, a woman who lives a full life with Psoriatic Arthritis, a passionate amateur visual merchandiser, a lover of travel, a fabricologist, a socialiser, an occasional drinker (well maybe more than occasional) and a lover of learning.

I am a mind full of doing with a body that won’t keep up. This blog is my life through the lens of living with a chronic condition. (But I really hate the word ‘chronic’ – maybe I could say painful condition – but that sounds like I’m constipated).

So the name My Joint Perspective is just that – my life from the perspective of having a joint disease – Psoriatic Arthritis. Come along and join me on the journey.

Quilter, fabric lover, amateur photgrapher, lover of cushions….

I like how things look. I’m constantly moving things around in my unit to look better – to create a better vignette or an eclectic art wall. I also strongly follow the 5 C’s of decorating in a major way – Candles, Colour, Cushions, Clutter and a little dollop of Crap. I mean, you can never have too many cushions.

I spend a lot of time at home so I like to look at things that are gorgeous – most are op shop finds, hand me downs or lucky buys. It doesn’t matter where something comes from, if its beautiful – it stays. When we downsized massively in 2013 the hardest thing to curate was my collection of red glass. But that’s a story for another day…

I also love travel and documenting any travel with photographs – so enjoy the below snapshot into my world.
